    Overview:

    Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Project Manager, Practice Builder, to expand our Electric Vehicles (EV) practice in Jacksonville, FloridaResponsibilities:Lead the design and analysis of complex electrical systems for EV projectsAreas of focus could be Fleet Conversion, Electric Utilities, Municipal EV and Readiness Planning, Transit Agencies, Airports and Seaports, State Agencies and Municipalities, Commercial and Industrial Entities, Commercial Developers, and/or EV Developers.

    Responsible for the review and development of design documents and reports, including electrical layouts, equipment schematics and block diagrams, electrical system calculations, and one-line diagramsDaily interaction and collaboration on multi-disciplinary teams, with interaction across Kimley-Horn officesPrepare project specifications, electrical construction cost estimates, and proposals, supporting the growth of EV service areas in the local market and across the countryLeadership responsibilities include:Our Project Managers/Practice Builders manage their projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentorThe successful candidate will be given a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their businessWith success, this individual will enjoy the rewards of an impressive bonus program with the potential to advance to ownershipQualifications:10 years+ of relevant experience managing EV projectsBachelor's degree in Electrical EngineeringRegistered Professional Engineer (P.E.)
    license preferredFirm understanding of the National Electrical Code, National Electrical Safety Code, IEEE and ANSI StandardsAbility to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organizationAbility to manage and mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive mannerDemonstrated ability to manage Electric Vehicles projects profitablyWhy Kimley-Horn?:
