Prime Shrimp is looking for high-energy, self-motivated Business Development Analyst to accelerate the success of the Commercial Sales organization through market research, qualitative and quantitative analysis, sales outreach and account management.

Responsibilities
Managing successful placement of a new product at the store level to flawlessly execute retail placement of Prime Shrimp
Brainstorming creative solutions to reaching direct consumers in pursuit of increasing in-store velocity
Working on creative solutions to successful product placement, including in-store demos, creative marketing, influencer partnerships, etc.
Conducting sales phone calls and emails, coordinating sample and cook opportunities, and visiting customer targets to open and close deals
Managing and attending trade shows, buying shows, and all other in-person B2B selling opportunities
Regularly visiting customer accounts in-store to assist in placement opportunities, maintain relationships, and increase velocity
Managing a sales lead-to-customer pipeline, both in real world execution and through accurate maintenance of a CRM program
Conducting market research to identify sales leads and gathering information across specified geographic regions and business sectors
Working with prospective and existing customers to build relationships, understand needs and qualify opportunities
Strategically using - and playing an active role in constantly improving - a sales toolkit encompassing brand messaging, digital assets and physical collateral
Identifying, exploring and analyzing data points including industry trends, market response, sales metrics and internal KPIs to guide and measure the effectiveness of commercial efforts
Demonstrating an entrepreneurial, problem-solving personality
Requirements
B.S. or M.S. in Business, Marketing, Sales or Finance
Microsoft Office fluency
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Outstanding interpersonal skills and situational awareness
Strong organizational skills
Travel 20-40%
Desired
1+ year of experience in CPG sales
