Job summary
We are looking for Construction Plans Reviewer I who will review construction plans for building code compliance local ordinances and state regulations in order to issue building permits.
Review proposed engineered projects for compliance with FEMA regulations for building elevations and flood resistant construction methods materials.Reviews site development plans for building construction type accessibility building separation use.Reviews approves engineer reports.Performs structural plan reviews commercial type permit applications compliance current Florida Building Codes Collier County Land Development Codes affected federal ADA/Handicap Regulations/Fair Housing Act Regulation interacts customers/clie

Qualifications
- High school diploma GED required.
- Plans Examiner requirements Fla Four years combined experience field construction buildings inspection corresponding certification category sought Three years postsecondary education field technical education field three years combined corresponding certification category sought One year experience working construction buildings inspection plans review.
