    Minimum qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 12 years of experience in general management with a focus in business and market. 4 years of experience with people management.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Experience in both Federal and SLED Businesses.
    • Experience working with Channel partners and understanding of a channel centric go to market approach.
    • Knowledge of procurement models that are unique to the public sector.
    • Ability to influence and manage in a programmatic manner, cross functional teams including product management to support the business.

About the job The GPS Security Sales Team is responsible for promoting cybersecurity solutions to the mission of our U.S. Federal Civilian customers, and Federal Systems Integrator partners. We uncover security challenges and guidance on how to achieve better cyber maturity. Our primary focus is to promote our Cyber Solutions, which spans Products (Chronicle, Mandiant, Virustotal, BeyondCorp Enterprise, Security Command Center Premium), People and Process (consulting services). We are also fundamentally responsible for being subject matter experts in securing cloud environments and making Federal customers feel comfortable modernizing their applications and moving their workloads to the cloud. Google Public Sector brings the magic of Google to the mission of government and education with solutions purpose-built for enterprises. We focus on helping United States public sector institutions accelerate their digital transformations, and we continue to make significant investments and grow our team to meet the complex needs of local, state and federal government and educational institutions. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $163,000-$232,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.     • Evaluate and restructure team as needed and bring in new talent at the required levels to help build, grow and manage a large book of business.
    • Lead and implement Public Sector-focused go-to-market propositions within the Security Portfolio, by working with Marketing, Demand Management, Customer Success and Product and Engineering teams to produce a focused proposition.
    • Work with multiple cross-functional teams to ensure product market readiness, policy alignment, marketing, multi level channel strategy and enablement.
    • Develop sales organization and ensure forecasting accuracy and contribution to both new bookings and business.
    • Provide strong visionary leadership of where the Workspace related market is going in the future and how Google Public Sector supports external customers.
