We are seeking a dynamic Claims Specialist to join our client's Professional Liability division.
This pivotal role will involve overseeing claims related to Errors & Omissions (E&O), Cyber Liability and Medical Malpractice, among others.
The ideal candidate will possess a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) and have a strong background in litigation management, policy interpretation, coverage analysis, and negotiation.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee claims within the Professional Liability division, including E&O, Cyber, A&E and Medical Malpractice
Conduct thorough policy interpretation and analysis to determine coverage and liability
Utilize expertise in litigation management to efficiently resolve claims
Identify coverage issues and develop strategies for resolution
Stay abreast of statutes, regulations, and legal developments impacting claims handling
Lead settlement negotiations and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
Provide guidance and mentorship to claims team members
Collaborate with underwriters and other departments to ensure seamless claim resolution and client satisfaction
Our ideal candidate may be someone who is currently in private practice looking to transition in-house or someone who currently works at an insurance carrier in claims and looking for a stronger position.
This is a Hybrid role working 3 days in office and 2 from home. They offer a competitive salary with full benefits along with supporting work/ life balance.
