    Pay: $50-$55/hr.

    Location: Raleigh, NC

    Contract: 6-Month Contract to hire

    Responsibilities

    • Works, both hands-on and by providing guidance to network engineers, to ensure cable management throughout all network facilities is done in accordance with industry and project best practices.
    • Responsible for site surveys at new or retrofit locations throughout the clients network.
    • Creation of site workbooks (work to be accomplished with complete equipment list).
    • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Well versed in the following manufacturers equipment.
    • Cisco (to include the Meraki WiFi and SD-WAN equipment)
    • Juniper
    • Aruba
    • 5 10 years hands on experience with the implementation, including diagnostic metrics and best practices in networking.
    • Hands on experience with supporting small to large, facility networks.
    • Ability to travel to site locations.
    • Some nights and extended hours might be required.
    • Domiciled in Raleigh, NC or be willing to relocate within 90 days of start (no relocation will be offered)
    • Ability to travel to site locations.

    • Candidates need to work well in a team environment with a mindset to share, receive and discuss ideas to compile the best solutions for the customer.
    • Capable of installing equipment and new network technologies
    • Knowledge of cellular technologies
    • Directing vendor staff or crews onsite
    • Conducting research, and reporting on project status
    • Ability to communicate effectively.
    • Ability to converse and explain technical issues or concerns fluently and calmly to business customers.
    • Clearance Required: Verification and proof of US person status is required to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. (In accordance with U.S. Government Directives, prior to the GovCIO Security Department initiating, or reinstating your Public Trust, we must verify your U.S. person status), or hold a current clearance from another US Government agency.
