Algorithm Engineer - Jackson, United States - OVT group
Description
Responsibilities:
The imaging algorithm engineer will apply knowledge of image sensor and camera system to, scientifically, analyze key performance of OmniVision's products and provide technical suggestions of improvement.
Work with analog/digital design team to differentiate the performance of the product in the industry
Simulate and analyze the image quality improvement of the product with new imaging algorithm
Develop scientific approaches for image sensor/camera system's performances
Conduct modeling and simulation of imaging systems
Requirements:
Must have 5 year experience / knowledge in CMOS sensor or camera ISP system
Must have C/C++ programming skills (Python, Matlab, C# and other language skills are plus)
Experience/knowledge in image signal processing and color technology is a plus
Experience/knowledge in RTL design and verification is a plus
Experience/knowledge in HLS is a plus
PhD / MS / BS in Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science and Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
Business level Japanese & English communication skill
Result oriented and embraced change behaviors
Project management skill is a plus
