    Receptionist/Housing Specialist

    A local company is seeking a dynamic individual to join their team as a Receptionist/Housing Specialist. This role is crucial in providing exceptional service to over 400 housing units. The ideal candidate must possess strong organizational skills, advanced clerical experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office, have experience with postage meters, and exhibit excellent communication skills to handle tenant interactions effectively.

    Responsibilities
    • Handle all aspects in an office setting that service 478 housing units.
    • Answer a multi-line phone system promptly and professionally.
    • Perform rent calculations, including those for government programs.
    • Process Annual Re-examinations efficiently and accurately.
    • Manage court processes and eviction notices in compliance with regulations.
    • Oversee accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Coordinate extermination services as needed.
    • Facilitate lease renewals and manage related documentation.
    • Conduct bank deposits and reconcile financial transactions.
    • Assist tenants with the move-in process, providing necessary information and support.
    • Generate and distribute rent statements in a timely manner.
    • Address rent-related inquiries and concerns from tenants.
    • Handle tenant conflicts and complaints with diplomacy and professionalism.
    • Perform batch entries accurately to maintain financial records.
    • Manage maintenance invoices and coordinate payments.
    • Coordinate the move-out and transfer process for tenants.
    • Maintain organized filing systems and ensure accurate record-keeping.
    • Conduct regular purging of files in accordance with policies and regulations.
    Qualifications and Skills
    • Fast learner with the ability to adapt to new processes and procedures quickly.
    • Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations with a calm and pleasant demeanor.
    • Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute
    • Advanced clerical experience, preferably in a housing or property management setting
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
    • Familiarity with postage meters or similar office equipment is preferred.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving
    • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
    Benefits/Compensation
    • Full Time
    • Shift M-F 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
    • Pay Rate is $16/Hr
    • Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts
