As a seasonal helper at L&S, you will work alongside industry experts to expand your knowledge and experience in new residential construction to ensure the successful completion of all installations.

More specifically, you will support superintendents in preparing houses for stage completion for each trade as applicable. A seasonal helper is a temporary position. For 2024, L&S Mechanical is looking for candidates who are available now until August 30th. Permanent trainee positions will open in September.

Seasonal helpers who are interested in a permanent trainee position should let their area manager or production manager know that they would like to be considered.

Seasonal employment does not guarantee permanent employment.
Transport materials to job sites across multiple areas.

• Identify common issues with trade stage installations and inform the superintendent or make necessary adjustments and repairs as necessary.
• Assist in preparing for inspections and pulling tests after inspections pass.
• Assist in verifying if jobs are ready for next-day installations.
• Own a reliable vehicle to be used for work purposesâ€"van or truck preferred.
• Prior experience as a plumbing, electrical, or HVAC helper in residential, new construction preferred, but not required.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with little supervision.
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the position - working in indoor and outdoor elements with extreme variation in temperatures and weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow); 15-15 Hourly Wage
