    Position Details:

    • Compensation: $75, ,000 per year with a 20% annual bonus potential
    • Work Schedule: Monday-Friday Day shift, with some after hours on calls as needed.
    • Travel: 5%, including the Buffalo area

    Position Purpose:


    The Maintenance Manager position reports to the Operations Manager and is a mechanically inclined maintenance professional that has experience in conveyor systems, warehouse management control systems, and preventative maintenance schedules.

    A successful candidate will have the ability to negotiate and manage vendor relationships while obtaining the skills to be a strong leader, teacher, decision maker, and problem solver.


    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Ability to solve maintenance problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where minimal standardization exists.
    • Ability to perform assigned job duties under constant time pressures.
    • Test emergency generator.
    • Record data from main electrical panels.
    • Inspect various equipment and building areas, including, but not limited to, air compressors, roof and roof-mounted equipment and sprinkler systems; record data from inspections.
    • Test sprinkler system's water flow, tamper switches and sprinkler system alarms.
    • Test fire pump and alarm.
    • Inspect all equipment and repair or replace as necessary to avoid down time.
    • Inspect, lubricate and clean condensers and evaporators.
    • Perform annual inspections on refrigeration compressors, including change oil and filter, disassemble compressor for internal inspection and align mechanical couplings.
    • Inspect and lubricate freezer and cooler doors and perform needed repairs; maintain inventory of repair parts.
    • Design and construct carpentry items requested by other departments.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address maintenance and operational issues quickly and efficiently.
    Required Qualifications

    5 years of experience in building operations, facilities management, or a related field

    5+ years knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems

    Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed

    Preferred Qualifications

    Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements, including fire codes, building codes, and environmental regulations

    OSHA Certifications
