- May assist as a timekeeper, preparing employee schedules, ordering of supplies, reporting equipment malfunctions, and other related functions of the division as directed by the division/department leadership.
- May function as a Radiologic Technologist and be assigned in the division schedules. (Will adhere to the job description for the position).
- Will make the division/department leadership aware of any incidents, problems or emergencies that occur in the division.
- Will respond to the radiologists and/or staff physicians regarding quality of patient care issues and relay information to the division/department leadership as appropriate.
- May assist with the training of new personnel, and/or student who are assigned to the division.
- Ensures that adequate supplies are in the division and properly stored.
- May perform clerical duties to include answering telephones, patient scheduling, and RIS functions as needed.
- May support image management functions such as; re:follow-up on missing/unread cases, completing RIS functions, etc.
- May maintain records; keep logs and other documentation as needed.
- May participate in meeting, educational programs, etc as necessary.
- Completes all necessary work sheets, patient records and documentation. Processes images and related functions as needed.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
- Must be registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiographer required
- Must maintain required hours of continued medical education
- Must maintain a Healthcare Provider certification (BCLS)
