    Description
    Clinical Administrator IIMedicine – Gastroenterology

    Location:
    New Orleans, LA

    Summary

    At the direction of the Section Chief, the Clinical Administrator II for a clinical Section at the School of Medicine is responsible for administration of the Section.

    This includes but is not limited to Strategic Planning and Business Development, Marketing, Financial, Human Resources, Research Operations, Clinical Operations and Activities, Grants/Contracts Activities, Office Management Operations, oversight of all satellite clinics, the residency and fellowship training programs, and fund-raising activities in conjunction with the Chief to help build the Section's Endowment.

    Oversees coordination of nonscientific/ administrative portion of grant activities.
    Required Qualifications


    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 3 years relevant management/administration experience
    • Clinical administration experience
    Preferred Qualifications


    • Master's Degree
    • Academic or healthcare background
