    Description

    Controlled Holdings, an Indiana Best Places to Work (10 times... but whos counting) and an award-winning distributor of HVAC controls, is currently seeking an energetic and entrepreneurial Recruiter to join our growing People Ops team.

    The Recruiter is a hands-on role that sources and recruits top talent. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, contributing to our company culture, and driving HR functional excellence. This role reports directly to the HR Manager.

    In this role, you'll perform the following tasks:

    • Post open positions on Job Sites (LinkedIN, UKG, Indeed, etc.)
    • Source high quality candidates from job postings, active recruiting, and networking
    • Complete new hire onboarding through HRIS system (UKG)
    • Work with HR Manager and Hiring Manager to create and update job descriptions and questionnaires based on job requirements
    • Conduct interviews in a variety of different formats (over the phone, video chat, and in person)
    • Complete new hire administrative tasks which include (but are not limited to): submitting background checks and sending new hire welcome gifts and finalizing training schedules
    • Build a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs
    • Research platforms, tools, and techniques to reach passive candidates through various resources
    • Assist with timesheet management for payroll
    • Attend job fairs to promote our brand and open positions
    • Ensure a positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers
    • Keep HRIS system updated
    • Be an ambassador of the Controlled Holdings Core Values

    Qualifications:

    • Entrepreneurial Spirit
    • Highly Trainable and Coachable
    • Technically inclined, ability to work within multiple different systems (UKG, LinkedIn, etc.)
    • 1 year of related recruiting and/or administrative experience
