    Description


    Job DescriptionElectromechanical Assembler The ideal candidate can performlight electronic and/or electromechanical assembly work for Radiofrequency switches, pushbutton switches, and similar assemblies.

    Starting as a hardware supply store during the California Gold Rush and eventually assisted in the birth of the aerospace industry in Southern California by providing aircraft aluminum to early aerospace pioneers like Lindbergh, Douglas and Lockheed.

    We specialize in electronic and structural systems, producing complex products and components for commercial aircraft platforms, mission-critical military and space programs, and sophisticated industrial applications.

    Our Facility in Carson, CA is our Engineered Products Group location, which houses our Human Machine Interface, Motion Control Device, Radiofrequency Departments.

    Assembly of various detail parts into semi-complex assemblies using various assembly techniques.
    Must be able to assemble parts using different types of tooling to achieve desired results.
    Must be able to interpret instructions to mix various epoxies and paints for marking/bonding.

    Able to work with working parts or components which require special care in handling or other procedures which require good dexterity and facility in use of a variety of hand tools.

    Work is not typically highly repetitive, but the cycle of repetition may be short enough to allow the development of some habit patterns.

    Must be able to work with assembly equipment such as arbor presses, pneumatic presses, ultrasonic welders, etc.

    Must be able to work from wiring diagrams, detailed drawings, standard work instructions (SWIs), or other input documents of similar complexity.

    May make minor procedural decisions in soldering, fitting, etc., but always within established guidelines.
    Perform other assignments as required.

    Ability to build electronic assemblies Required Experience and Education Vocational, High School diploma, or general education degree (GED); or 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Prior solder and assembly experience. (5+ years preferred)Experience with RF switches is highly preferred.
    Experience with pushbutton switches is highly preferred.

    Minimum 5-7 years progressive experience in quality management with supervisory experience, including military, where applicable, and commercial customersThis is a generic job posting for an Electromechanical Assembler.
