    Responsibilities:
    1. Patient Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive health assessments of patients, including obtaining medical histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
    2. Diagnosis and Treatment: Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions across the lifespan, utilizing evidence-based practice guidelines and clinical expertise.
    3. Health Promotion and Disease Prevention: Develop and implement individualized care plans focused on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of risk factors, incorporating patient education and counseling.
    4. Collaborative Care: Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, allied health professionals, and other members of the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, facilitate referrals, and ensure continuity of care.
    5. Patient Advocacy: Advocate for patients' rights, preferences, and access to quality healthcare services, while promoting shared decision-making and informed consent in the treatment process.
    6. Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters, assessments, interventions, and care plans in electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and professional standards.
    7. Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, performance evaluations, and peer reviews to enhance clinical practice, patient outcomes, and satisfaction with care delivery.

    Qualifications:

    1. Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
    2. Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state of New York.
    3. Clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred, but new graduates with relevant clinical rotations may be considered.
