    Description

    About the Job:

    Are you passionate about workplace safety? TK Elevator is looking for a Buyer I in Atlanta, GA to join their team. In this role, you will lead the transformation of TKE NA direct procurement spend, aiming for a best-in-class sourcing model that drives cost savings, spend discipline, and procurement innovation to meet cost targets effectively.

    Responsibilities:

    • Define procurement strategic direction and organize sourcing of direct spend.
    • Lead senior category teams and foster cross-functional collaboration.
    • Develop supplier sourcing strategies to support TKE's growth and business objectives.
    • Oversee intricate negotiations with suppliers and manage supplier relationships.
    • Implement supplier performance and development strategies to support category growth.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance sustainable sourcing practices.
    • Maximize use of procurement tools and establish efficient purchasing policies.
    • Utilize data analytics to drive spend reduction efforts and ensure compliance.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or Engineering.
    • 15+ years of strategic sourcing and supplier management experience.
    • Expertise in ERP systems, Spend Data Analytics & Reporting, eSourcing, and contract management systems.
    • APICS, CPSM, CPSD or equivalent procurement certification.
    • Six Sigma Black Belt experience.
    • Proficiency in procure-to-pay (P2P) digital platforms and advanced strategic sourcing models.
    • Demonstrated leadership in procurement organizations and transformations.
    • Experience leading RFP processes for direct sourcing needs and building relationships with external partners.
