Job Description

• May Read and understand job tickets.
• Pick/pull and stage parts, products and raw materials and place in appropriate bin and carts for distribution to the assembly lines. Subassembly of wires for kitting,
• Scan work order ticket into system.
• Follow all work instructions and ensure job is performed accurately.
• Always wear / use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow and comply with all safety and health regulations
• Perform other duties assigned by team leader or supervisor
• Takes direction from lead.
• Works within well-defined instructions.
• Ability to read and write English
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to interpret and follow instructions, policies and procedures.
• Ability to count, basic math
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow all safety protocols, procedures including using/wearing designated PPE.
• Ability to get along well, communicate timely and accurately with co-workers, supervisors and team leads
• Ability to stand long periods of time, 8-10 hours a day.

Good eye/hand coordination

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Training:

On the job training, (Training is provided so they can learn how to perform their basic job functions up to company standards.)

During training, operators have to be monitored by supervisor and/or managers until they confirm these tasks are being carried out properly.

Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations. High volume manufacturing environment with forklift traffic. May have higher noise volume in areas – hearing protection required. Requires ability to stand for long periods up to 8 to 10 hrs.
