Description

• The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing oversight and guidance to volunteers who provide end of life care to residents at Advent House, a 2 bed comfort care home.
• Provide phone call advice and come to Advent House to cover an open shift, provide assistance to volunteers with direct resident care if needed.
• Work with multidisciplinary team to provide

excellent patient care.

• Report to and collaborate with Directors of Advent House.

Qual ifications
Prefer RN degree but will consider LPN.
Minimum of one year experience in hospice or related field.
Posit ion- MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY , 2 TO 5 DAYS PER WEEK, WILLING TO MAKE PART TIME. 4PM UNTIL 8AM FOLLOWING DAY.

• Must

be able to come to comfort care home on short notice when needed.

• Must have own reliable transportation.
• Critical thinker and ability to use good judgment.
• Ability to work well with others,

including volunteers.

• Strong communication and management skills.
• Pleasant personality and good team player.
• Ability to provide emotional support and education to dying patients and their families.
