Job summary
Performs scheduled emergency maintenance on manufacturing machinery corrects problems with hydraulic pneumatic electrical mechanical components PLCs maintains specified production spare equipment operates assists maintaining motorized equipment performs basic moderately complex electrical repairs installations interacts vendors complete projects repair equipment ensures accuracy safety operations diagnosing root cause problem correcting issue mechanical hydraulic pneumatic electrical components PLCs plant machinery equipment performing routine predictive preventive maintenance all machinery maintaining repairing motorized equipment operating manlifts forklifts transporting heavy parts equipment performing inspections trucks identifying needed parts repair equipment facility completing required paperwork order new parts track existing parts coordinating maintenance parts inventory MRO purchasing personnel maintaining grinders associated blowers adjusting sharpening blades fabricating metal parts e.g brackets welding as required maintaining work logs required performing basic moderately complex electrical repairs installations completing daily forklift safetysafety/damage inspection checks performing grounds facilities repairs needed responding oncall emergencies assigned timecard accurately recording time worked attending weekly shift meetings monthly plant meetings if required actively participating plant safety programs depending location notifying department supervisor proper tools furnished complete job functions
