    Description

    Heavy Equipment CDL Driver

    You will be responsible for transporting heavy equipment safely to and from job sites, maintaining accurate delivery and pickup records, inspecting vehicles and equipment for safety and compliance, communicating effectively with dispatch and customers, following DOT regulations and company safety policies, and performing basic maintenance and reporting mechanical issues promptly.

    About the Role:

    • Transport Heavy Equipment: Safely transport heavy equipment to and from job sites, adhering to strict time schedules and ensuring timely delivery of equipment.
    • Maintain Records: Accurately document delivery and pickup information, including equipment details, dates, and times.
    • Inspect Equipment: Regularly inspect vehicles and equipment to ensure safety and compliance with regulatory standards.
    • Communicate Effectively: Collaborate with dispatch and customers to resolve any issues or concerns related to equipment transportation.
    • Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Perform Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance tasks and report any mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime and optimize equipment efficiency.

    Requirements:

    • CDL License: Possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
    • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in heavy equipment transportation or a related field.
    • Knowledge: Familiarity with DOT regulations and company safety policies.
