- Ability to coordinate and supervise patient care;
- Ability to adequately assess and reassess pain.
- Educates the patient and family regarding pain management.
- Ability to interpret results of EKG tests and take appropriate action on EKG tests results.
- Knowledge of medications and IV Fluids and their correct administration, based on age
- Identifies physical symptoms and changes and takes appropriate action, promptly.
- Knowledge of cardiac monitoring and can identify dysrhythmias.
- Carry out medical and surgical asepsis during treatments and special procedures.
- Ability to perform EKG testing, point of care testing, and swabbing per clinical
- Follow Emergency Department's patient care units' policies and procedures.
- Organizes and manages nursing activities, reflecting due consideration for patients'
- Insert intravenous IV Catheters.
- A graduate of an accredited Nursing school.
- Current NYS Registered Nurse licensure;
- One (1) year of hospital nursing experience Required;
- Two (2) years of ED and ICU experience Preferred;
- Excellent customer Service skills;
- BCLS, ACLS, and PALS Required;
