The Compensation Analyst I assists in the administration of staff compensation and classification programs and projects for the University under general supervision Ensures compliance local state(s) and federal laws in consultation with management Analyzes and evaluates positions for appropriate titles paygrades and organizational hierarchy to maintain external competitiveness and internal consistency Benchmarks University staff positions Compiles information for salary surveys Consults with departments on classification compensation practices promotions and issues related to pay under general supervision Provides guidance to HR Business Partners
