Job Description & Requirements
Will be working in a solely abdominal / small parts / GYN scanning lab fast paced
environment, which includes both outpatients scanning as well as inpatient scanning, at University
Drive. Specialized experience includes but is not limited to communicating effectively with and
professionally with radiologists, co-workers, support staff, providers, patients and families,
independently performing diagnostic tests, acting as a liaison and information source for patient and
family, nursing staff and medical staff. Ability to independently perform ,examinations of the
neck, thorax, abdomen and pelvis, vessels, extremities and abdominal dopplers to include, but not
limited to complete abdomen, right upper quadrant, abdomen with spectral and color dopplers, preand post- liver transplant spectral and color dopplers, abdomen with elastography, renal, renal
artery imaging for both native and transplant kidneys with spectral and color doppler, thyroid, neck
post thyroidectomy, scrotum to include color and spectral dopplers, pelvic to include
transabdominal and transvaginal scanning, AAA screenings and follow up, and provide guidance
for biopsies, drainages, RFA procedures, microwave ablation procedures, thoracentesis, and
paracentesis. These exams are performed in the department and at beside.
