    Analyst / Senior Analyst, Climate Finance Investment Team

    We are seeking a highly motivated analyst or senior analyst to join our team of impact investing professionals.

    Must be located within 30 miles of St. Louis or be willing to relocate.


    Position Summary:


    As a Climate Finance Analyst, you will support the Enhanced Capital Climate Finance team by working on tax equity, debt, and preferred equity deals, performing financial analysis, assisting with project and sponsor-level due diligence, and engaging in a wide variety of business development initiatives.

    You will also be responsible for producing reports, presentations, and financial models based on analysis and presenting those findings to stakeholders.

    Qualified applicants must be able to execute fundamental strategic analysis, apply sound business judgement, interact as peers with senior management, and manage complex projects.

    Applicants should demonstrate excitement towards investing within the global climate transition and an interest in project finance transactions.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Financial analysis and due diligence across full suite of project finance product offerings, throughout the lifetime of a deal
    • Support in drafting of internal investment memos, screeners, models, and investor reports
    • Participate in strategic initiatives and ad hoc industry research projects
    • Assist in all facets of business development, including engagement with investor and developer partners
    • Manage communication and reporting to senior leadership within the executive, finance, and investor relations teams
    • Take ownership of all data control, record keeping, and data room management processes

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree with one to three years of relevant work experience, preferably with project finance transactions
    • Excellent organization, communication, and research skills with the ability to succinctly express and present ideas
    • Strategic and analytical thinking with an emphasis on risk assessment
    • Motivation and ability to clearly communicate / present to both internal and external audiences
    • Strong quantitative skills, including financial modeling, financial statement analysis as well as critical thinking and problem solving
    • Ability to analyze problems quickly, develop solutions and proposals and clearly communicate recommended strategies
    • Strong ability to juggle priorities and take ownership of projects is essential
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues of all levels
    • Based in St. Louis, or willing to relocate – must be available for travel to for training and team meetings
