This position will be based in our Grand Rapids, Michigan office. Applied Innovation is seeking a Network Connectivity Technician to connect clients to their printers and multi-functional devices. This position involves on-site, remote, and in-house support for copiers and printers.

Responsibilities/Objectives:

Configure and install copiers and printers on customer networks remotely and onsite.
Lead various projects with experienced colleagues' help.
Resolve customer support tickets remotely and onsite.
Provide our customers with fast, friendly, and amazing service.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, industry certifications (such as Network +), or equivalent work experience.
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to provide end-user support (via phone, e-mail, face-to-face remote software) to resolve technical challenges.
Ability to lift equipment up to 40lbs.
Windows OS Server/Desktop, and Mac OS X.
General knowledge of industry standard protocols such as SMTP, TCP/IP, SMB etc.
Wireless networking.
