    This position will be based in our Grand Rapids, Michigan office. Applied Innovation is seeking a Network Connectivity Technician to connect clients to their printers and multi-functional devices. This position involves on-site, remote, and in-house support for copiers and printers.

    Responsibilities/Objectives:

    • Configure and install copiers and printers on customer networks remotely and onsite.
    • Lead various projects with experienced colleagues' help.
    • Resolve customer support tickets remotely and onsite.
    • Provide our customers with fast, friendly, and amazing service.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, industry certifications (such as Network +), or equivalent work experience.
    • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Ability to provide end-user support (via phone, e-mail, face-to-face remote software) to resolve technical challenges.
    • Ability to lift equipment up to 40lbs.
    • Windows OS Server/Desktop, and Mac OS X.
    • General knowledge of industry standard protocols such as SMTP, TCP/IP, SMB etc.
    • Wireless networking.
