Job Description
We are looking for a talented Contracts Specialist to support the needs of our Legal Dept. and Company. You must have excellent written and oral communication skills as this position involves direct contact with our business teams.
In addition, you must have great attention to detail and be able to work independently in a constantly changing and sometimes ambiguous environment.
You also need common sense and great judgment. Your responsibilities will include work on cross-functional legal, finance, sales operations and other integration projects.In particular, you will support the operation of the Company's Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system, anticipated to be Conga. A working knowledge of CLM systems, infrastructure, and processes is highly desired for this role.
Responsibilities:
Assist with implementation, deployment, training, and operating CLM software and tools to enhance contract generation, tracking, storage, reporting, and analytics
Stay abreast of upgrades, new releases, technologies, and best practices communicated from CLM vendor
Support day-to-day contract administration and management
Draft and/or review basic customer and vendor contracts, SOWs, order forms, NDAs, etc.
Facilitate and execute modifications to active contracts, including amendments, renewals, terminations, etc.
Review and coordinate contract approvals and contract execution
Manage contracts and contract records, including reviewing contract records for completeness and accuracy
Perform legal and contract tasks for product and customer migration projects
Maintain and coordinate updates to legal department templates and forms
Leverage data in contracts database to report on deviations from standard contract terms
Analyze contracts for extraction of key data points for entry into contracts database
Coordinate subpoena document productions with Product team, outside counsel, and requesting parties
Assist in managing vendor procurement, contracts and relationships
Additional responsibilities, duties and projects as assigned by manager and/or Chief Legal Officer
Qualifications
5+ years of contracts administration, contract management, paralegal, or other relevant experience with a corporate legal department; project management experience a plus
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office products required
Salesforce CRM experience required, including the ability to create reports and dashboards
Process and system-orientation
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in writing and verbally
Clear adherence to company policies and procurement rules and regulations
Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task on several projects simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Positive and enthusiastic attitude, with an openness to new challenges
Creative analytical and problem-solving skills
Willingness to learn multiple product lines and services offered
Excel in a remote-based cooperative team environment
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with peers, superiors, and vendors
Education:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, pre-law, finance, IT, or business
