    Pay is $18.44/hour plus $3/hour shift premium

    Basic Purpose and Scope:

    The Spice/Prep I position prepares raw ingredients and spice needed for scheduled production

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

    1. Perform all job duties and operations in a safe manner, while following all federal, state, and Litehouse regulations and policies - Always
    2. Weigh ingredients and spice according to recipes - 75%
    3. May operate a forklift to retrieve supplies from, dry storage, cooler or freezer - 20%
    4. Utilize data collection system to maintain inventory accuracy and traceability, utilize scanner to use oldest ingredients first (FIFO) - 5%
    5. Responsibility to adhere to Food Safety policies and report food safety and quality concerns to their supervisor - Ongoing
    6. Work closely with Coordinator to determine jobs needed for each shift - Ongoing
    7. Ensure products produced meet customer and quality requirements - Ongoing
    8. Maintain ingredient and spice code records and usage - Ongoing
    9. Maintains clean work area and participates in housekeeping throughout the facility and grounds - Ongoing
    10. Must be able to frequently work overtime and weekends as necessary - Ongoing
    11. Must be able to work scheduled shifts and meet attendance requirements - Ongoing
    12. Other activities and duties as assigned - Ongoing

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO PERFORM WORK:

    1. Education: High School Diploma/GED Strongly Preferred
    2. Certifications: None
    3. Experience: None
    4. Must have strong verbal and written communications skills with ability to express ideas professionally, effectively and efficiently in the common language
    5. Ability to establish & maintain effective working relationships with all contacts inside and outside of the company with strong interpersonal and organizational skills
    6. Ability to multi-task, focus and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
    7. Ability to read and interpret weights and measures and perform basic mathematical calculations
