- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy (RT) or equivalent.
- Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving abilities and adaptability to change.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive patient issues while maintaining confidentiality.
- Capacity to build relationships with patients, physicians, and other departments.
- Prior experience is a plus.
- Current Texas State Registered Respiratory Therapist (TMB) certification.
- Current National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications by the American Heart Association.
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
