    Description

    Job Title: Operations Specialist

    Classification: Nonexempt

    Reports To: FulfillmentManager

    Manages: None

    Summary of Position: The Operations Specialist's job is to provide assistancein everyday operations of a warehouse. The assistant is responsible for theefficient manner in which the warehouse is running, and for this to happen mustperform various activities.

    Duties and Responsibilities:


    • Handle and operate necessarytools to maintain and manage a warehouse
    • Load and unloaddelivery trucks
    • Check quantity andtype of goods received against bill of lading
    • Notify sender of any damagedor missing goods
    • Help plan efficientuse of warehouse space
    • Label, organize andrecord location of goods in warehouse for efficient access
    • Keep neat and cleanwarehouse premises
    • Monitor warehouse stockand re-order as needed
    • Ship goods as needed
    • Monitor and manageinventory control
    • Prepare dispatchnotes and labels upon requests
    • Prepare goods fordaily pick up by freight companies
    • Compare shipping ratesto find most efficient and economic
    • Communicate clearlywith manufacturers, distributors and sales reps
    • Quality control ofgoods in and/or goods out
    • Perform crystalpressing process on our products as needed
    Qualifications:


    • Proficient skills with Microsoft Office Suite especiallyExcel
    • Some knowledge of warehouse environment
    • Self-motivated and detailed organizational skills
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Prioritizes responsibilities to achieve results
    • Valid driver"'s license and clean driving record
    WorkingConditions: Able tophysically lift boxes from 20lbs to 50lbs and comfortable with the use of toolssuch as knifes and scissors.
