- Professional laboratory experience in Biology, Molecular Biology, and/or Neuroscience background
- Post college lab experience in histology and molecular biology
- Scientific Support including but not limited to QPCR, PCR, ELISA, Western Blot, cell culture, aseptic technique, assay screening, general prep, liquid handling equipment, plate readers, etc
- Tissue sectioning and sample preparation
- Use of laboratory equipment including but not limited to Plate Sealers/Desealers, Incubators, pipettors, centrifuges, incubators, biological safety cabinets, balances, etc.
- Ability to analyze data and troubleshoot and document.
- Organized, ability to multi-task, analytical skills, professionalism, communication skills, attention to detail, aseptic technique.
- Software includes software specific to instrument(s) for capturing and analyzing data, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams/SharePoint, etc.), LIMS, electronic laboratory notebooks, etc.
- Degree requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Science
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a laboratory environment
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in histology
