Job Description:
We are Hiring Immediately for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk position in an exciting warehouse facility

Pay between $ $23.00 per hour depending on experience. Manage a culture of SAFETY, QUALITY and PRODUCTIVITY, with continuous improvement. This is a working lead position, which includes case pick, pulling pallets, and loading trailers. Prepare dock set up, door assignment and spotter empty trailer request throughout the working shift. Responsible for managing and assigning work to Drivers and Case Pickers to complete the assigned loads daily. Run load verification reports, assign loading door numbers in the system, assign load seals in load and update in the system and make sure all load packs are complete. Create pivot tables for consolidated loads. When completed notify QA. Work with Customer Service for any live load arrivals for loading within a 2-hour window. Direct loaders for outbound loading, once loading verification is complete call QA for picture of load for release. Assist with closing WPT4 full pallet tasks and scanning/nest labels. Maintain a tally of work assigned by associate to prepare productivity reporting. Maintain a daily clean as you go and at the end of shift mentality for the outbound dock, case pick and assigned reserve rows / forklift area including garbage cans to be emptied in all areas. Last, 15 minutes of the shift should focus on warehouse cleanup. Work QA issues through the shift, coaching associates as issues are brough forward and fixed Promote and enforce safety and warehouse rules. (Steel Toe Shoes, Seat Belts, No Cell Phones, No Ear Devices, No Food or Drink in warehouse, except water etc.) Have all overages left at outbound doors and empty pallets collected and put away to the proper locations at the end of shift. Verify that equipment inspections are completed at the start of the shift and equipment is plugged in at the end of shift for charging. Manage the RF and Radio assignments. At the end of shift all RFs and Radio need to be accounted for and put away correctly for next shift. Work with Maersk Assistant Managers and QA to achieve success on the working shift.
