    Description

    Do you like working with people, multi-tasking and learning new skills daily?

    Our HR team is looking for a candidate with a high energy level, great computer skills and the ability to think creatively. As an HR Generalist you'll support over 430 employees by supporting their employment needs through coordinating onboarding, providing benefits support and facilitating employee engagement programs.

    This is a 100% onsite (Oldsmar, FL) position reporting to the VP of Human Resources.

    Requirements

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

    • Processing timely and accurate payroll and HRIS data entries along with other administrative procedures relevant to the on-boarding, leave of absence, benefits, compensation and off-boarding processes
    • Maintains HR metrics. Provides assistance in monthly/quarterly/annual HR reporting.
    • Supports recruiting efforts as directed by the VP of HR
    • Oversees background check process and employee eligibility verifications for recruiting process.
    • Supports new hire on-boarding programs
    • Facilitates monthly employee enrollment, audits, and reports for benefits programs
    • Maintains organized and current record keeping systems for personnel files, benefits administration, OSHA record keeping and compliance-related-records
    • Completes and submits regulatory reports under the supervision of the VP, HR
    • Supports Employee Engagement programs including coordinating monthly events at the Corporate location, and ordering and delivering recognition awards, and monthly Employee Engagement program items to locations.
    • Engages with candidates, employees and other stakeholders on a daily basis via phone, email and Teams (IM) to support answering general questions associated with HR processes
    • Supports the transition of new employees acquired through closed acquisitions
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    Position/Type/ Expected Hours of Work:

    This is a full-time position onsite in Oldsmar, FL and core hours of work and days are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

    Potential for evening and weekend hours as required.

    Travel:

    Travel (10% - 25%) will be required to travel to multiple locations to support various HR programs. Candidate will need to be able to provide reliable transportation.

    Qualifications:
    • Experience as an HR Generalist role preferred.
    • Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    Skills and Abilities:
    • Collaborative and solution oriented
    • Proven quality experience as demonstrated through historical work/achievements
    • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
    • Highly developed organizational skills; comfortable working under time sensitive deadlines
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities
