The Senior Software Developer will play a crucial role in supporting an IT software development project aimed at creating the next generation of applications for our federal client.

This role will entail working with a variety of tools and technologies including Java, Angular, AWS, SpringBoot, SonarQube, and Gitlab.

The ideal candidate will need to adapt quickly, learn new skills, and provide valuable support to a high-performing development team.

Job Requirements:
*6+ years of Java/J2EE programming experience. *4+ years of experience in full stack web development using Java, Angular, WebServices (REST and SOAP), JavaScript, Spring, SpringBoot, for on-prem and AWS environments. *4+ years of experience developing enterprise applications with JavaScript frameworks like Bootstrap or React *2+ years of experience with database technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, etc. *Experience in verifying code quality with Sonar, perform code clean-up. *Knowledge of web development specifics, including JSON, REST, web and microservices architectures, and HTTP specification. *Experience developing applications to be deployed on app servers such as JBoss EAP, Tomcat, etc. *Experience automating unit and integration testing in a test-driven development with CI/CD models. *Experience with Source Control (Git or SVN). *Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6 or later). *Strong understanding of OO programming including interfaces. *Good teamwork and strong collaboration skills. *Experience with best practices and design patterns for writing clean, reusable, and highly organized code. *Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools, including Git, Bitbucket, or Jira. *Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education Requirements:
Bachelor's in computer science or related field

Security Clearance Information:

You do not need a current/active clearance to apply but must be able to pass and hold a government Public Trust (SF-85) background investigation.
