    Description
    Serves as a graduate assistant football coach. performs other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or Senior Director of Athletics.

    Reports to:
    Head Football Coach/Senior Director of Athletics


    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Coaches a specific assigned position.
    • Actively recruits new students from a specific assigned area.
    • Maintains all requested charts, statistics, film breakdown, practice planning, etc.
    • Works with Athletic Training staff concerning medical room operations, health services, exams, referrals, etc.
    • Assists head coach in overseeing the study table and weight room.
    • Maintains awareness of and follows all NCAA and college rules.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    • Exhibits necessary level of knowledge and expertise and has an appreciation for confidentiality.

    • Strives for excellence in performance of responsibilities and in meeting needs of clients/students served.
    • Knows and observes college and departmental policies, guidelines and procedures.

    Qualifications:

    • Related Bachelor's degree, plus any related coaching experience or equivalent.
    • Evidence of excellent coaching skills and demonstrated organizational ability to recruit student-athletes and implement a competitive football program.
    • Ability to quickly build rapport and to communicate effectively with a diverse population.
    • Ability to coach an assigned team position.
