    Description


    Our client, a Fortune 500 facilities services company, is looking to bring an Electrical Testing Technician onto their Electrical Power Solutions team in Columbus, OH.

    This person will be responsible for traveling around Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia to perform installations, maintenance, and testing of electrical power distribution equipment at various commercial, industrial, and mission critical facilities.

    Primary responsibilities are below:

    • Travel to sites across Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia to inspect, test, troubleshoot, and collect data on electrical power systems, including:
    o Low, medium, and high-voltage switchgear and circuit breakers

    o Relays, transformers, and generators


    • Complete job hazard analyses including arc-flash and shock analyses
    • Act as subject matter expert onsite and communicate with client management

    Currently holds or has held NETA certification or NICET electrical certification


    • Experience working in prime power in the military
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical testing
    • Ability to travel up to 90% of the time
    • Familiarity with NETA acceptance and maintenance testing standards and NFPA70E electrical safety standards
