    Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

    We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Greensburg, PA. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

    Responsibilities:

    • Triage and interpret orders into a computerized medication order system, ensuring accuracy and productivity standards are met.
    • Audit input versus documentation and make corrections as needed.
    • Perform drug calculations, including basic mathematical calculations (e.g., converting milligrams).
    • Resolve issues of denials identified through adjudication and follow-up claims in Point of Sale (POS).
    • Maintain current knowledge of Medicaid claim regulations and processes.
    • Produce reports and keep management informed of unpaid claims and claims pending follow-up.
    • Provide excellent customer service to external and internal customers in accordance with company values.
    • Assist with drug preparation and dispensing under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist.

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Pharmacy-related experience.
    • Basic understanding of drugs, medication terminology, and metric system; ability to operate a computer.
    • Licenses/Certifications: As required by state regulations and business needs.
