    Description
    We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our client's dynamic team in Durham, NC.

    As a CNC Programmer, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process by translating engineering designs into precise CNC machine instructions.

    Your expertise in CNC programming, machine operation, and attention to detail will ensure the accurate production of high-quality components.


    Responsibilities:

    • Programming: Utilize CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software to generate CNC programs based on engineering blueprints, CAD models, and specifications
    • Setup:
    Set up CNC machines, including loading necessary tools, fixtures, and materials according to job requirements

    • Machine Operation:
    Operate CNC machines to execute programmed tasks, monitoring the process to ensure accuracy and efficiency

    • Quality Assurance:
    Perform in-process inspection and dimensional checks to verify conformance to design specifications and quality standards

    • Troubleshooting:
    Identify and resolve programming, tooling, and machining issues to maintain production flow and minimize downtime

    • Optimization:
    Continuously improve machining processes, tooling strategies, and program efficiency to enhance productivity and quality

    • Documentation:
    Maintain accurate records of programming revisions, tool changes, and machine setup parameters for future reference

    • Collaboration:
    Work closely with engineers, machinists, and production team members to optimize designs for manufacturability and resolve any manufacturing challenges

    • Safety:
    Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information and collaborate with cross

    Education:
    High SchoolExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC programming and machining operations, with proficiency in CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, GibbsCAM, or similar).
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
    • Strong knowledge of machining principles, tooling selection, and cutting parameters.
    • Familiarity with a variety of CNC machines (milling, turning, etc.) and control systems (e.g., Fanuc, Haas, Siemens).
    • Ability to troubleshoot and debug CNC programs and machining processes effectively.
