    to join our team in Miami, USA.

    Position Overview:


    As a Business Development , you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our freight forwarding division.

    You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and expanding our customer base.

    Your expertise in freight forwarding sales and development will be essential in achieving our strategic objectives in this competitive industry.


    Principal Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to drive growth in the freight forwarding sector.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, targeting potential clients and industry partners.
    • Nurture and expand relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
    • Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customized logistics solutions for clients, ensuring seamless execution of services.
    • Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to clients, effectively communicating the value proposition of our Company.
    • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with carriers & clients, maximizing profitability while meeting customer needs.
    • Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports and recommendations to senior management.
    • Stay informed about regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in perishable freight forwarding.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience in sales and business development within the freight forwarding industry - a focus on perishable goods is a plus.
    • Strong knowledge of the domestic and international freight forwarding market, including key players, industry dynamics, and customer requirements.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal,
    in English and Spanish.

    • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, industry partners, and internal stakeholders.
    • Proactive attitude and self-motivated approach to achieving targets and driving business growth.
    • Exceptional negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals and secure long-term partnerships.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
    • Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software.
    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
