    Join our Team as a Registered Mammography Technologist!


    The Registered Mammography Technologist is responsible for producing high-quality breast imaging procedures following industry guidelines such as the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), American College of Radiology (ACR), and Mammography Quality Standards Act and Program (MQSA).


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Performs breast imaging and dual energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) scans for physician interpretation.
    • Collects patient history, provides education, and discharge instructions.
    • Assists radiologists in invasive breast procedures while adhering to aseptic techniques.
    • Operates mammography equipment to generate quality diagnostic images.
    • Applies radiation protection principles to minimize exposure.

    Requirements:

    • Associate degree from an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) accredited institute (preferred).

    Certifications/Licenses:

    • Mammography Certification and Registration, ARRT (preferred upon hire or within six months).
    • State Licensure (preferred as per state requirements).
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association (preferred upon hire).

    Experience:

    • 1 year of registered mammography technologist experience (preferred).
    • Familiarity with EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) (preferred).
