Great Northwest Animal Hospital is a privately owned 5 doctor practice in San Antonio, TX looking to add two full-time doctors to meet the needs of our rapidly growing community.

During that time, the facility has been fully modernized on the inside to provide a brightly lit, colorful and immaculately clean work environment.

We offer the best medicine for every case without the need to cut corners. Many have compared our services to being on par with a specialty hospital. Our doctors are treated as individuals and respected for having their own individual style of practicing medicine. We never compare doctors or establish sales quotas and we strive to offer a flexible work-life balance. For our younger practitioners who are new to the career, we focus on providing extensive mentorship and training to ease the transition into clinical practice.

Our technical staff receives extensive training before they are allowed to work by themselves on the clinic floor. Each technician spends 8 weeks training one on one with a dedicated instructor and one of our owners.

In addition to our onboarding program, team members receive ongoing training seminars that focus on topics such as anesthesia, emergencies, preventative care and many of the common disease conditions we encounter on a daily basis.

We are extremely versed in mentoring new graduates into the profession and know how to throttle the workload through the transition period from student to doctor.
