    Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.

    Blazerjobs is currently seeking two dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. These positions are full-time and will support a high school Specialized Services Needs classroom with a caseload of 9 students.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities in a high school SSN classroom.
    • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
    • Collaborate with other members of the educational team, including paraprofessionals, therapists, and administrators.
    • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and resources to promote student engagement and academic growth.
    • Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed to ensure attainment of IEP goals.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and progress.

    Requirements:

    • Active Special Education license/certification in the state of Colorado.
    • Fingerprint clearance/background check required.
    • Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Services Provider (SSP) License or ability to obtain.
    • 2-3 supervisor reference checks.
    • Experience working with students with significant support needs preferred.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and diverse educational environment.
