    About this role

    Carrier's Commercial HVAC business is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to lead the transformation of the engineered to order (ETO) process for our North America Equipment business. This individual will improve the experience for our customers, both internal and external, while expanding the profitability of the ETO orders.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Function as a program manager to support North America ETO delivery improvement, for both quoting and design processes, collaborating with global and regional engineering, product management, and sales teams.
    • Lead the analysis of current state in North America to identify and prioritize opportunities for profitability expansion and growth through improved customer satisfaction and capturing the true cost to the business.
    • Lead projects and programs for the opportunities identified , ensuring accountability to timelines, deliverables, and business outcomes
    • Manage and communicate project status including milestones, risks, and action items to drive completion in a timely manner (on-time, in-budget) to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including executive presentations
    • Deploy and drive adoption of changes identified to improve the profitability of the business
    Basic Qualifications
    • Bachelors' degree
    • 4 + years of experience with Lean or continuous improvement methodology
    • 2 + years of ex perience managing improvement projects through the full project lifecycle
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Knowledge of HVAC or industrial equipment industries are a plus
    • Experience with engineered to order processes and business preferred
    • Excellent business acumen
    • Product management expertise
    • Effective project management skills
    • Ability to link a series of projects into a cohesive program
    • Superior problem-solving skills and resourcefulness
    • Ability to conduct events and workshops with cross-functional teams
