- You will become knowledgeable in Workday Platform and Service architecture, working with Kubernetes on AWS and GCP supporting our multi-cloud strategy.
- You will build and maintain the engineering environments, enabling features for Workday Engineers, and work cross team to identify root causes and solutions.
- You will continuously improve processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance the teams' efficiency
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related field or equivalent
- 3+ years of software and systems delivery experience
- 2+ years of Development and Operations experience on a public cloud platform (AWS/GCP/Azure/Oracle)
- 2+ yrs experience with Kubernetes
- 1+ year of experience with software development experience using Go Lang, Python or Ruby
- 1+ year Linux Scripting experience
- Experience working cross team in analysis and solution finding
- Experience with general monitoring solutions, crafting dashboards and alerts (e.g. Grafana)
- Continuous Delivery experience, owning your service through to production.
- Experience in Agile environments/Agile development methodologies.
- Experience developing automation solutions, CI/CD tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

About the Team
Engineering Environments is an organization responsible for building scalable, cloud-based instances of the Workday stack for Workday developers and testers, as well as the Workday Continuous Delivery pipeline. We are at the core of the Workday Developer Experience and are driving next Generation Environments and Services for 5000+ Workday engineers. In support of the increasing demand, we are growing our team delivering Cloud based services which meet Workday's Operational, Performance, Management and Security needs.
About the Role
The Engineering Environments team is looking for a highly motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to join us in building the next generation platform for Workday Developers, to deliver reliable, resilient SaaS products to our customers.
This outstanding role blends an understanding of the full Workday stack with usage of cutting-edge cloud computing technologies (Kubernetes, AWS, GCP) as we enable the platform for our developer's needs.
You'll work with highly experienced engineers in Dublin and the US to achieve this.
Basic Qualifications:
The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $111,600 USD - $167,400 USD
Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $106,000 USD - $189,000 USD
