    Summary:


    We are seeking a seasoned Project Executive with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects, particularly in the construction of Manufacturing Plants for the steel or aluminum industries.

    The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in overseeing projects valued over 500 million USD, demonstrating exemplary leadership, strategic planning, and project management skills.


    Responsibilities:

    Project Planning and Execution:

    • Lead the overall planning, coordination, and execution of the construction project, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining key milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements.
    • Implement effective project management methodologies to drive efficiency and productivity throughout the construction lifecycle.

    Stakeholder Management:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, external contractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
    • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, facilitating clear communication channels and addressing concerns in a timely manner.
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align project objectives with organizational goals and priorities.
    • Lead a cross-functional team, liaising with support functions including: Engineering & Construction, Legal, Project Controls, Permitting, External Affairs, Power Development, Market Fundamentals, Permitting, Accounting, Tax, and others.

    Budgeting and Cost Control:

    • Oversee budget development, cost estimation, and financial forecasting for the construction project.
    • Monitor project expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks.
    • Ensure strict adherence to budgetary constraints and procurement guidelines throughout the project lifecycle.

    Quality Assurance and Compliance:

    • Establish rigorous quality assurance protocols to uphold industry standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Conduct regular inspections and quality audits to assess construction progress and identify potential areas for improvement.
    • Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, environmental policies, and building codes at all project sites.

    Team Leadership and Development:

    • Provide strong leadership and mentorship to project team members, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
    • Delegate tasks effectively, empower team members to take ownership of their responsibilities, and facilitate professional growth opportunities.
    • Resolve conflicts and performance issues proactively, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.

    Education

    Bachelor in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; advanced degree such as MBA much preferred.

    Masters degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; advanced degree such as MBA much preferred.

    Technical Experience

    Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in construction project management, with a focus on large-scale industrial projects.

    15+ years of progressive experience in construction project management, with a focus on large-scale industrial projects.
