    Cyber Security Analyst
    Onsite - Lancaster, Ohio

    We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Analyst to join our clients team in Lancaster, Ohio. This critical role will be responsible for monitoring, identifying, investigating, and responding to cybersecurity threats and incidents.

    Responsibilities:

    • Utilize iVue and other security tools/technologies to monitor network traffic and identify potential security breaches or threats
    • Conduct security risk assessments and vulnerability testing
    • Analyze security logs, malware samples, and other data to detect and respond to cyber attacks
    • Recommend and implement security controls, patches, and mitigations
    • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure overall security of systems and data
    • Provide security training and advisories to employees
    • Stay up-to-date on emerging cybersecurity trends, tools, and best practices

    Requirements:

    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
    • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cyber Security Analyst or similar role
    • Extensive hands-on experience with iVue security information and event management (SIEM)
    • Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus/anti-malware
    • Experience with security tools like Nessus, Metasploit, Burp Suite, etc.
    • Scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell or similar

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Security certification (CISSP, CEH, GSEC, etc.)
    • Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
    • Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO, CIS)
