    • Hospitalist and NocturnistValley Medical Group is seeking FT daytime Hospitalist physicians and FT Nocturnist to join its hospitalist program to provide inpatient care at The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, New Jersey.

    The primary goal of the program is to serve our community by providing evidence-based, high-quality patient care while always ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.

    The schedule for the day-time hospitalist consists of a 7-on/7-off rotation which includes rounding and admitting shifts.

    The schedule for the Nocturnist is flexible and consists of 3/4 shifts on and 3/4 shifts-off rotation or 7-on/7-off rotations.

    The Nocturnist is primarily responsible for admission of patients referred to our program.

    We have a separate house staff program which provides RRT and CODE coverage as well as cross coverage for the hospitalist service at night.

    The house provider service enables our day-time hospitalists to focus on their rounding and admitting responsibilities and our Nocturnists to primarily focus on admissions.

    Ideal candidates will be hard working, flexible, team players with excellent communication, critical thinking, analytical, and relationship-building skills who enjoy a non-academic, dynamic, community based hospital setting.

    Candidates must have an MD or DO degree and be board-certified/board-eligible in Internal Medicine/Focused practice in Hospital Medicine/Family Practice. A valid New Jersey state license, DEA, and CDS are required. Nocturnists willing to provide house service coverage as needed are preferred.
