    Reports To:
    Production SupervisorPURPOSE OF POSITIONProduce defined quantity of parts and components according to company and customer specifications.
    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive.
    Other duties may be required and assigned.

    More specifically, the employee owner will:
    Demonstrate knowledge and ability to perform all duties on the weld line.
    Assure parts and components are accurate according to specifications.
    Accurately utilize schedules, prints and tooling.
    Jig, assemble, weld parts and components.
    Operate a wire welderRequest and/or gather raw materials, parts and components necessary to complete task.
    Perform routine and preventative maintenance.
    Perform housekeeping in area including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, and cleaning tools and machines.
    Communicate positively and effectively with supervisors, fellow workers, and other internal customers.

    Perform machining on Lathe as needed (Corning 2).QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

    EDUCATION
    • EXPERIENCE
    • COMPUTER SKILLS High school diploma or a general education degree (GED); orOne to three months related experience and/or training; orEquivalent combination of education and experience.

    • LICENSES Complete PPI weld trainingContinually participate in additional training related to the job.

    The employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts.
    Steel-toe safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, grinding helmet, welding helmet, welding coat and welding chaps required.
