HYBRID OPPORTUNITY

On behalf of a rapidly growing company in Florida, we are seeking a Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting to join their accounting and finance team. The ideal candidate will be able to meet strict deadlines and be able to multitask.

Responsibilities:

• External financial reporting process, including the preparation of external financial statements and disclosures as required by the SEC (Form 10-Q's, Form 10-K's, and Form 8-K's).
• Year-end financial audit process with external auditors.
• SOX compliance and annual/quarterly review activities with the external auditors.
• Prepare workpapers supporting filings with the SEC that are complete and accurate.
• Assist in the review of XBRL taxonomy for the Company's Form 10-Q and 10-K.
• Monitor and remain informed on new and proposed accounting and regulatory developments and evaluate their potential effect on the Company and its financial statements, including but not limited to items issued by the FASB, SEC and PCAOB.
• Assist with month-end close and other operational accounting processes (lease, share-based compensation, and debt accounting), including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and related schedules.

Education and Require Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (preferred) or Finance.
• 3+ years of accounting experience (public accounting or relevant corporate accounting experience preferred).
• CPA or Master's Degree desirable.

Salary: Up to $90,000 based on experience
