    **Description**

    **Job Purpose**

    Branch Manager is responsible for the financial and sales growth of the company. Duties will include marketing fuel, lubricants, and other petroleum related products. This position is responsible for strategic planning, accountability and managing employees. The Branch Manager will motivate and build goal-oriented sales for multiple lines of petroleum products involving the concerted effort of sales and marketing personnel, with the inclusion of individuals involved in operations. A large element of the Branch Managers responsibilities will involve public relations in the community and with the companys customer base.

    **Duties & Responsibilities include**

    Tank Wagon pricing

    Truck & Trailer bids and pricing

    Monthly inventory count of Lube Oils

    Inventory management/ordering - Bulk lubricants, Bulk petroleum products

    Review of daily driver reports

    Price changes to customer accounts

    Daily inventory reconciliation of bulk plant

    Purchase order writing and approval of A/P invoices

    Review of financial statements/sales/gross profit/SQL reports to analyze branch financial performance/individual customer profitability, trends, change in customer volume, lost customers, and ways to improve.

    Work with HR and corporate on staff changes, reviews, compensation, new hires, separations, and safety.

    Facility utilities management (including cardlocks)

    Office internal control for cash handling, sales orders, inventory

    Annual Monthly Sales and Expense Forecast

    Annual Capital Expenditure Budget Preparation

    Oversee truck repairs and maintenance

    Compliance - in coordination with corporate, comply with regulations mandated by state and local agencies

    Monitor employees authorized for company vehicle use and/or personal vehicles on company business

    Responsible for workers compensation injury claims and providing modified work

    Equipment - know and enforce DOT rules on pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and proper handling of Vehicle Inspection Reports.

    **Qualifications**

    Valid commercial drivers license with hazmat endorsement preferred

    3-5 years hands on P & L experience

    Associates degree or equivalent work experience

    2+ years of supervisory/management of people

    Self-motivated, proactive, capable of working as a member of a team, leading teams, and mentoring teams.

    **Working Conditions**

    Majority of work conducted in office environment. May be required to drive in inclement weather

    Work schedule will vary and may include work on evenings, weekends, and holidays due to special events, inclement weather, and other projects related to timely distribution of product and services

    Work involves moving boxes and employee must lift, bend, stoop, pick up and move objects up to 50 lbs.
