    Job Title

    Retina Consultants of Minnesota (RCM) is seeking patient-focused individuals to work as a Patient Service Representative.

    This role involves providing exceptional patient care, handling patient intake and care activities, and facilitating communication between patients, family members, and medical staff.

    The ideal candidate will be organized, personable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Answer phone calls and direct callers to the appropriate party or handle their needs
    • Greet patients, sign them in, and obtain necessary information
    • Provide patients with intake and new patient forms, as well as office policies and required documents
    • Process payments from patients and schedule appointments
    • Maintain patient records and files
    • Remind patients of upcoming appointments and schedule testing for off-site services

    Requirements

    • High School Degree or GED
    • Personal motivation to provide excellent patient care
    • Administrative or front desk experience, preferably in healthcare
    • Ability to think critically and multitask effectively
    • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
    • Desire to learn and grow professionally
    • Efficient use of healthcare management systems
